So, what's B Corp Certification, Anyway?
B Corporation (B Corp) certification is basically a report card for businesses that want to do more than make money. It's run by a nonprofit called B Lab, and it's tough to get.
The bar: You need 80 points out of 200 to pass. For context, most companies score around 51. It's genuinely difficult, even for animation studios like ours where impact is already baked into what we do.
Our score: 92.4 points. We're proud of it. We're also still learning.
Why We Pursued This (And What It Actually Took)
Let's be honest: this was not easy work. Over 100 hours of preparation. We tracked our entire supply chain, revised governance policies, and confronted the gaps between what we said we cared about and what we actually did.
